Biking @Lake Neusiedl

Lake Neusiedl lies in the easternmost province of Austria, called Burgenland. This region around the steppe lake, with over 2.000 hours of sunshine annually, is one of the most popular holiday areas in Austria. Sport, culture, nature, wine or fine food – the UNESCO World Heritage area of lake Neusiedl has all the right ingredients for a perfect holiday.

We want to discover this beautiful area with you by bike. Our tour will start in Vienna by train (45 min) to Neusiedl. From there we will rent bikes and start our sporty biking tour along the lake. After a ride of appr. 45 min we will arrive in Podersdorf, hosting city of the surf weltcup. In Podersdorf we will have 1 hour time to drive with the paddle boats, to relax at the beach, eat ice cream or go swimming before we will ride to Breitenbrunn where we will arrive at the "Heuriger". There we will eat some typical Austrian food and of course taste some wine. After another 1 hour ride to Neusiedl, we will take the train back to Vienna. The whole route has a length of about 45 km.

 - stamina
