Biking at Lake Neusiedl

Lake Neusiedl, located in Burgenland, Austria's easternmost province, is a stunning steppe lake and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Join us for an exciting biking adventure as we explore this picturesque area together! Our journey begins with a 1 hour train ride from Vienna to Neusiedl. Upon arrival, we’ll rent bikes and set off on a scenic cycling tour around the lake. After approximately 45 minutes of riding, we’ll reach Podersdorf, a charming town famous for hosting the Surf World Cup. Here, you’ll have one hour to enjoy paddle boating, relaxing at the beach, swimming or indulging in some delicious ice cream.

Afterward, we’ll continue our ride to a traditional Heuriger. This cozy Austrian wine tavern is the perfect place to savor local delicacies and, of course, sample some regional wines.

REQUIREMENTS:

 - knowledge of how to ride a bike

 - stamina

 - sport clothes and bathers
